My grandma fell down and broke her knee. It’s serious because of her osteoporosis. Now she’s bedridden. My mother has been waiting on her hand and foot. She weighs more than my mother, so it’s very difficult. My aunts refused to keep in touch with her, let alone take care of her.
Prior to this, she was already unsteady on her legs. But she refused to use a walker or cane. She thinks it’s a curse, and said “I saw my neighbor who bought a walker, and she died soon.”
When she was younger, my step grandfather was still alive, he advised her to go out and do some exercises, but she didn’t listen to him. They had heated arguments over this. My mother also wanted accompanied her to go out, even said “Even trees cannot live without sunshine.” But she said, “There are still dead trees under the sunshine.”
