What does the "ever + verb" mean in "ever set"? This is from a UK speaker. -------------- "Although Davi is watching over them, ever set on her aggressive schedule."

The word "ever" is widely used as a word, and also as a part of other words like "whatever", "wherever", "evermore", or "forever". Whenever it appears, it conveys an absence of limits. So "ever set" means "set in an unlimited way", or in other words, "always set" or "consistently", which is the same meaning J. Lee suggested.

this is like the word "very" or "consistently" or "continuously": "although Davi is watching over them, very set on her aggressive schedule."
