There were a man and a woman in a bar near the beach. Apparently, they were alone. After swapping some words, they dined together and fell in love with each other. Eventually, they had to return home to their children and the real world. They returned to being a wife and a husband [", separately"].
I understood your paragraph better on a second reading and I wrote this correction. This is my preferred one. I don't think I can delete the first one.

(1) We say "there WAS a man and a woman", although it is certainly not a mistake to say "were". We say it this way because we are thinking of the two as one. "A man and a woman are one", so to speak. (2) It's better to put "apparently" directly in front of the word it best modifies, which is "alone". (3) I had trouble translating the sentence "Eventually, ..." because I could not figure out what it was trying to say. (4) We say "husband and wife" rather than "wife and husband". Don't ask me why.

There were [I think most people would actually say "there was" even though I think grammatically that is not correct] a man and a woman in a bar near the beach. Apparently they were alone. After swaping some words, they dined together and fell in love with each other. Eventually, they should return home with their children in the real world. They came back to be wife and husband. [Sorry. I don't understand these last two sentences, so I cannot correct them. ]
