My task today is to write about myself: who am I as a language learner? I've been studying English for 2 years. I think that I have a B1+ level. Maybe not.
During these two years, I have:
- had private lessons with my English teacher 2-3 times per week;
- watched moves and videos with English subtitles;
- spoken with native speakers on otalki;
- tried to read the books and write letters to my clients (I work as a freelance designer, I make up seamless patterns for textile and wallpaper and draw different illustrations).
I wanted to study English not only for my work, but also because I would like to travel. Unfortunately, Covid struck. And now I have a big-big dream - travelling without Covid.
Going back to my studying, I now have good listening and reading skills, but I do write not very well. And I need to work on grammar more because I've started preparing for a B2 test. I hope to pass this test next autumn.
From time to time, I lose my interest in English. For example, last summer I didn't learn English at all for 2 months, I didn't want to. But now I've started learning a new course, "Face2Face Upper Intermediate", and I love it!
My beloved husband and all our 3 children are supporting me in my studies. I love them. And I'll show you my Christmas painting, have a look, please... Do you like it? Write to me... :-)
Have a good day!
See you, Tatyana
