Hello, I’m Evelin. I am 18 years old and I am/ come from Mexico. I have started learning English
and I’m so excited.
When talking about where you live, you can say ‘I am from’ or ‘I come from’ - both would mean the same thing I’m this context. In this case, ‘I have started’ makes more sense than ‘I start’.
‘I start’ works better for when you are talking about something you will be doing in the near future (e.g in 2 months, I start a new job or in 2 hours I start taking my exams).
Hope this helps you - keep up the good work!
