My family is planning to go to Korea at the end of the year. There are five people in my family. My older sister often goes to Korea, so this time she will guide us. It will be my first time traveling abroad, so I am very excited. I often watch Korean dramas, so I cannot wait to eat Korean food and buy cute clothes in Korea. The food I want to eat the most is something like Japanese oden that they have in Korea. I think Korea will be cold, so I want to eat warm food and wear thick clothes to stay warm. I want to visit Itaewon and Seoul. My younger sister likes makeup, so we also want to go to Korean cosmetic shops. If we have time, I want to wear a traditional dress called hanbok and take pictures. I really hope this plan will come true. I have more things I want to do at the end of the year. For example, I want to go to the first shrine visit of the year and draw a fortune slip. I also want to eat delicious food from food stalls. Every year I go to see the first sunrise with my friends, so I want to go this year too. I really love my mother’s ozoni (Japanese New Year mochi soup), so I want to eat that and osechi (Japanese New Year dishes) as well. I also want to work hard at my part-time job so I can go out and have fun a lot.
