Community TutorDoes the word "acquire" can be used as a synonym of "raise funds."
For example, "Blablabla, a Polish medtech startup has acquired €250,000 from Blabla."

You could also say "has received" or "has been funded with".
As for other words in your sentence you could also say "Blabityblah". :>)

I agree with the others. ACQUIRE generally refers to buying another company (e.g. mergers and ACQUISITIONS)

Hi Sasha,
You wouldn't use acquire in this context. Acquire usually means to get an asset, rather than funding.
So you would use has raised funds of 250,000 from Blabla, or has sourced 250,000 from Blabla.
