It is a good idea for people to continue working in their old age if it is possible for them to do so. Do you agree or disagree? It is believed that the work on retirement can have a positive impact on the people. In my opinion, I agree with this idea because it could be a way to be independent financially and at the same time this type of activity can support people maintaining their mental health. Firstly, if old people would like to work it could be beneficial financially for them because in many countries around the world the pension funds can be around the minimum wage. As a consequence, if pensioners can work they can keep their stable life longer and probably they can inverse their savings into investment. For instance, in Sweden a lot of people try to save their job after reaching the retirement age, as a result many of them have enough money for traveling abroad every year. Secondly, by working on a regular basis, pensioners can be more healthy, especially their brain. The reason for this could be in neuron connections which formed during the daily foundation. Therefore people can think more clearly, they can maintain their mental health longer compared with their peers who do not work during retirement. In conclusion, there is the opinion that the job could be beneficial for the old generation. This activity can help them to be richer and healthier, that is why I agree with this idea. Additionally, it is important to have healthy and wealthy people for the society, it could be an indicator of the future prosperity.
