I hope our country will become stronger and make many advances in science, arts, and have increased compassion for all people in the future. 'Acheivements' sounds more like one single person improving their skills. A large country with many people could become better in many areas. I suggested a few. You could also say advances in; the economy, medical studies, environmental strategies, or other positive topics.
