How to how to read "ー".
「ーの読み方」
This letter symbol means vowel prolongation.
文字の語尾の音を伸ばす役目を果たします。
It’s used to express a foreign language only in Japanese.
外国語を日本語だけで表現するためのものです。
This is called a "choonpu", it can't just read "-".
これは「長音符」と呼ばれ、単体での読み方はありません。
Simply put, it pronounce the vowel of the previous word.
簡単に言えば、前の単語の母音を発音します。
For example,
"ちーたー" is chiitaa.
例えば、
「チーター」はちいたあ(chiitaa)です。
