Yeah, I think so. Because in this way you'll be more motivated about your career and afterwards your job. However, sometimes it's no that good, for instance, if you like music and play instruments and you want to study something related with that, maybe in the future isn't a good idea, because (at least in my country) live from music it's quite hard. Because the musicians aren't very supported. In my case, I'm only 16, and I really like music, but I don't see myself studying music, even if I'm really into it though. And also, I like to programming, and I was thinking maybe to be a software engineer, as far as I'm concerned it would be a better idea than be a musician. So, it's a great idea to turn your hobby into a career, but be aware about the advantages and disadvantages that this will have in the future.
