The Tim じぁん!!!
It’s drizzly and windy today. Back home, I was inspired while reading a blog about a strange LEGO model that made me gasp, then I made every effort to simulate it with my own bricks. Basically, it was a platform hanging or appearing "floating" in the air. To create such effects, I attached two short chains from the extension of the floating platform to the base. They weighed the weight. Then I used two long chains to connect the far edge of the platform to the base, balancing it from flipping over. But, it’s yet a mystery. I still have no clue why it was floating though I made it. It’s indeed a mysterious and fascinating structure.

Amazing!

I was a bit lost with "weighed the weight" sorry.

Simulate is the wrong word to use.
to give or assume the appearance or effect of often with the intent to deceive : imitate. : to make a simulation of (something, such as a physical system)..
It is possible to say you wanted to simulate the appearance of the floating object, but this would require some extensive rewriting of the text.
