The Tim じぁん!!!
It’s cloudy today. Last night, my dad spent hours fixing his Dyson vacuum cleaner. The trigger was wracked. He made every effort to disassemble it, replaced a spare trigger that he got from a mysterious buddy, then restored the whole thing. Amazingly it worked. Well, not for much longer. This morning, he was frustratedly shouting something like "flimsy crap" and announced that the circuit board of the motor was on the fritz again. My mom suspected that he had broken it when assembling it last night. But fair’s fair, it did work well after he fixed the trigger, for a while at least. I think it’s just its time has arrived.

It’s cloudy today. Last night, my dad spent hours fixing his Dyson vacuum
cleaner. The trigger (on switch?) was wracked (wrecked or simply broken here. According to my dictionary ‘wrack’ isn’t a verb. It’s most commonly used in the expression ‘wrack and ruin’) He made every effort to disassemble it,
replaced a spare trigger that he got from a mysterious buddy, then restored the
whole thing. Amazingly it worked. Well, not for very long. (Much longer tends to refer to the future) This morning, he
was frustratedly shouting something like "flimsy crap" and announced that the
circuit board of the motor was on the fritz again. My mom suspected that he had
broken it when assembling it last night. But fair’s fair, it did work well after
he fixed the trigger, for a while at least. I think it’s just its time has come to an end. (Or … it has reached it’s sell-by date)
Well-written as always.
