Could you explain the differences between "get the hang of〜", "to understand", and "take in〜"?

They have similar meanings, but this would be the difference:
Get the Hang of:
Learning by doing and getting comfortable with something through practice.
Understand:
Grasping the meaning or concept of something.
Take In:
Absorbing and comprehending information, often on a deeper level.
