Community TutorHi guys ,i have a few idioms which are helpful for you in speaking.
1.to blow something out of proportion(to) -to exaggerate.
Synonym: to make something into a bigger deal than it is.
2.to carry a tune - said of someone who is able to sing on pitch
3.to give someone a fair shake-to give someone the same fair treatment as you would give to others.
4.to go off the deep end(to)- 1.to become upset and irrational.2.to become crazy
Synonym: to flip out.
5.to get a hold of oneself-to get control of one's emotions
Synonym: to get a grip ,to pull oneself together.
