I have been teaching calligraphy for 6 years after graduating from university. Many students from different grades were taught in the past years. People would say that good students are same, but bad students are totally different. I also agree with this opinion and find that those who have low grades can’t be educated well by their parents, Some of whom got divorced or didn’t care about kids’ growth. The only way to help kids is to find a tutor. However, a child who couldn’t get love from parents won’t provide internal power to persist in their study. As for a teacher, usually I would boost their confidence by telling some positive stories and communicating with their mom. Also I tended to teach some basic passage to them at the beginning, After then, the passages were getting harder, some of students chose to give them up directly. I would tell how important you will go to university in the future and failure is the mother of success and so on. What’s your good ways to boost students’ driving force? comment below please, let me know.
