What's the difference between ich heiße and ich bin?

Первое "Меня зовут", а второе "я есть" или "мне есть", например: Мне (есть) 18. Ich bin 18.

„heiße“ refers only to your name. Example: Ich heiße Yvonne.
„Bin“ equals (I) am. So you can be tired, hungry or happy = Ich bin müde/hungrig/glücklich. BUT you can also say Ich bin Yvonne = I am Yvonne.
