Which app should I use to learn Japanese for beginners?

My friend recommended me an app to refer to in learning Japanese. I am a beginner without any knowledge about learning Japanese. I am confused between 2 apps, "duolingo" and "heyjapan". Anyone who has learned these 2 apps, please give me some advice.[Image]

I don't learn Japanese. And I don't know Duolingo. I would prefer an app that does just ONE language - but it's free , just try it. HeyJapan > I guess they have a free trial anyway. Here they mention also LingoDeer.
