Why is pant singular?
"And an ironed jean pant."
Why not "And iron jean pants"?

This is actually known as 'the fashion singular'. It's very common in fashion circles to refer to things which are typically plural singularly. So in fashion magazines, fashion forums online, etc., you'll read 'a bootcut jean' or 'a linen cigarette pant'. Think of it as a kind of jargon specific to a group of people. People who are into fashion also use this structure when speaking.
