Hi all, I am learning Italian and was wondering in what region of Italy people pronounce the 'c' as a Spanish 'j' as in Juan for example but in the italian word recuperate. However, I also hear the 'c' pronounced as the Roman 'c' a -sh- sound.
You can hear it in the following youtube video around 8 minutes: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xZvj_y89XJo
I was just curious. Looking forward to a response.
Thanks,
Evita
