Professional TeacherAre you intrinsically or extrinsically motivated to learn a new language?
Which type of motivation do you find more powerful?
Intrinsic motivation- an internal desire that comes from you, because you really want to learn, think its gratifying or satisfying to learn, you enjoy it.
Extrinsic motivation- an external reason to learn, something outside of you, for example, your parents are pushing you to do it or your job requires you to learn, you HAVE to do it but you don't particularly enjoy it

I think it's the first one for me.
When I was a child, I didn't particularly enjoy it. But now, the choice to learn a language is mine alone, so I find myself feeling motivated.
What about you?
