What is the difference between “anemic” and ”bland“, please?
For instance:
They insist on tastier chocolate than the anemic/bland British stuff.
Thank you very much

Bland has to do with taste, meaning it lacked taste. Anemic would be more related to appearance/color, so it might appear pale(anemic) instead of a deep rich brown like good chocolate.
