Today, the sun was shining brightly as the temperature rose and fell like a roller coaster. Chinese New Year is drawing near, and people are preparing to celebrate. As part of the tradition, many individuals adorn their gates with couplets, but in our household, we have a different custom. In the southern regions, we bring home flowers or citrus plants and keep them throughout the Spring Festival. As calligraphy is not a skill we possess, couplets have never been a part of our traditions.
