Yes, when I was a child I fought a lot with my siblings. Sometimes there was a very serious fight, in which we were even injuring each other. But now, we are grown, so we never have any fight.

This is all very good, but we would fight to plural because you said you fought a lot so we know you had many fights. Even though grammatically "fight" singular is fine, the plural sounds more natural
