Luckily this time, I was paired against Myra, who couldn’t throw a good punch if someone was controlling her arm for her. I got a good hit in during the first two minutes. She fell down and was too dizzy to get back up. I should feel triumphant, but there is no triumph in punching a girl like Myra.
What does "in" mean or imply as in "I got a good hit in during the first two minutes"?

I got a good hit in = I was able to deliver a solid punch that connected
i got in (noun) = i managed/was able to (verb)
to get in (a hit/punch) = to manage/to be able to (hit/punch your opponent)
