I think many international people already know, but there are two international famous theme parks such as "Universal Studio Japan" and "Tokyo Disney land" in Japan. I have been to both parks a few times when my kids were in elementary school(Maybe, it was over 10 years ago....). I saw an article about the entrance fee for them on the news website the other day. Compared to those overseas, I know the price is cheaper in Japan, but I still think most of Japanese feel like it is pricey. Unfortunately, the news said the price for one-day tickets is going to change this year. In "Universal Studio" case, it will rise by 6% . On the other hand, in "Tokyo Disney Land" case, the maximum price of one-day ticket for adult will go up by 16%. I heard the purpose is to avoid the crowd, to improve customer satisfaction and profitability. I guess there is more to it than that and I also suspect the reason why they had to increase the price is because it is due to utilities usually cost and labor costs have risen. We really want to see our kids look happy there, but at least I feel like this news will raise the bar for us to go there.
