There's nothing wrong with the grammar, but it's not a common collocation.
You might want to say:
This museum is popular with tourists.
Every tourist knows about this museum.

A place is either famous or it’s not. We don’t say it is famous with one person but not with another. Among one specific group it can be “known”, “popular”, “admired”. There can be famous places you have never heard of but that doesn’t affect their fame.
