A "snappy comeback" is an immediate and clever response to someone's negative statement. Winston Churchill's response to a lady who didn't like him is an excellent example. To express her dislike of him, she said, "If I were your wife, I would put poison in his coffee." His snappy comeback was, "If I were your husband, I would drink it."

Hi Hasib! A "snappy comeback" refers to a quick, witty and usually sarcastic reply to someone. Examples: Did you just fall down? "No!!! I'm attacking the floor." I think that you're stupid. "Oh, it must be catchy then." "Do you have a shut off switch?" (If a person keeps talking and dominating the discussion).
