Recently, it’s been so hot that I get sweaty just walking to school. I really hate it. Today, I went to eat hamburger steak with my friend for lunch. It was so delicious and made me feel better. Even though the weather is terrible, good food and friends help a lot!

Improved Version: - - - - Lately, it’s been so hot I start sweating just walking to school. I really can’t stand it. Today, I had hamburger steak for lunch with a friend. Swap “get sweaty” for “start sweating” to sound more natural. “Can’t stand it” and “cheered me up” are more idiomatic and expressive for native-level tone. - -
