Yesterday while I was watching TV, my cat suddenly rushed through the stairs, as he walked down I could noticed he was carrying something in his mouth, my wife and daughter saw it too and all of a sudden all were screaming hysterically: Oh my god he caught a rat!!!. He, the cat, rushed to the backyard and we followed him, filled with extreme precaution we tried to peek without him noticing us what the heck he had. I turned on my cell light and lighted through him and we noticed, full of panic, that he had caught a squab and we noticed in horror that the little bird was still alive, immediately we screamed: leave it, you little monster! (I know is not his fault, he was only following his instincts )but he saw us and rushed again to our house’s roof, we ran behind him screaming frantically my daughter crying. Finally after a while we could rescue the squab, he (or she, we don’t know) was fine, only in his back he has lost his plumage (his skin was peeled? Idk the english word). Now he is fine, we are keeping him in a little cage until his plumage is back and he can fly again
