I recommend having lessons with a Professional Teacher that has had formal training to teach pronunciation and accent reduction. Outside of class, shadowing will be beneficial.

Let’s first diagnose your pronunciation mistakes; then, let’s get rid of them. It is not obvious or simple. With the correct instructions and training most people will be able to do it.

In my opinion, the best way to improve pronunciation is shadowing. That means, while watching someone native english speaker on a video, listening and speaking with him at the same time. While hearing a word, have been learning how to pronounce and then repeating it correctly. That is the best way I guess.

Hi, Manon.
The only way to improve any aspect of speaking including accent is to speak. One of the best ways to do this is to speak to a Native speaker there are many qualified native teachers and professionals on italki, including myself. If you are not comfortable speaking to someone there are other ways however, they are less effective. My top suggestion would be an activity called shadowing. This is basically copying something exactly as it was said, with the same tone of voice, accent, and so on. I usually recommend that my students go to YouTube watch a video and repeat what the speaker is saying in order to practice accent and pronunciation. I hope this helps, 😊 enjoy the rest of your day.

You can look for the text that you want, and watch shorts in different accents...
