My life motto is “Be optimistic.” Even if there are a lot of things I have to do, I should be optimistic. Otherwise, I will be tired, both mentally and physically. In other words, when only bad things happen, if I think positively, I can enjoy everything. In addition, I may find or know new things that help me. For these reasons, I have valued my motto.

"know new things" does not sound right.
