Just last month, I suffered an almost-accidental fraud on this platform.đ This user pretended to be practicing Chinese and offered to become a study partner with me. She said she was a medical student in Canada and that her school had blocked all English software (she couldn't even use email!đ). So she asked me to create a QQ (a Chinese social media app) account for her. Without much thought, I agreed and even created two for her. She said she couldn't log in and asked me to verify with her mobile numberđ. I felt something was wrong and didn't provide it, explaining that I would offer her Chinese learning methods. But she refused and tried to morally blackmail međ€. Everyone must be careful not to be deceived! đ±
