1) If finished I have cleaned all day, so …. 2) If not finished I have been cleaning all day, so …. Consult a student textbook such as English Grammar in Use by Murphy for explanations, examples and exercises.

I feel the first sentence is correct. I suggest to the change the second sentence to: "I was cleaning..." past tense.

Hello Pelin. Re: cleaning The first sentence is okay but instead of the second sentence I would say: I HAVE been cleaning all day so I am tired. I hope this helps you. 😀
