Can you tell me the difference between "Waardeur"and "waardeer"?

Waardeer...appreciate. Ek waardeer dit opreg...I sincerely appreciate it.
Waardeur...through which, by which, by what, through what...Waardeur kan ek dit weet? Through what means can I know it? Bad example, but the best I can come up with. I just avoid using this word :-)

without cheating, I would guess that waardeur is to 'wonder or guess' and waardeer is to recognize or appreciate maybe?
