What are the reasons for this? How can people research this? In some nations, this is becoming a popular trend for citizens to know about the previous events that happened in their residential area. Several reasons are responsible for this attitude and some actions can be taken to achieve this knowledge. In this essay, I am going to shed light on these concerns. In some areas, there is a strong believe belief in metaphysical effects such as how the energy of other creatures or objects affecting human’s life. Hence, new residents want to make sure that their living place has no negative past such as murder to prevent any probable bad- luck. Apart from this viewpoint, there are some realistic concerns. For instance, people want to know is there any old plumbing in the area or a history of an earthquake which that can cause probable damages in the future. Another reason can be social concerns including the rate of crime, its intensity, and the general safety, especially for children. Thanks to the era of technology, with relevant keywords the history of the location can be found on the internet with evidences including text, image, or video. Moreover, there are official databases which that store all civil maps or events in the municipality, police station, and public library available to the public on request. In addition, is in some areas they are old citizens who have lived in that neighborhood for a long time. They can provide first-hand information for investigators. By way of conclusion, there are some realistic and metaphysical concerns about the history of the residential area. All of these questions can be addressed through internet resources, local official databases, as well as face-to-face conversation.

I think you have missed the point of this question (or maybe I have!) The question refers to the actual building not the neighbourhood. Things like previous murders are relevant. I don't think the plumbing is really part of the history. Earthquakes don't specifically refer to the house. I think the question wants you to talk about previous owners of older houses. Your points about how to research the information are great.
