Both your sentences are correct and the first is better. Some answers have suggested you need to say "the symptoms" but your sentence is actually more natural without " the" We use "the symptoms" when talking about the specific symptoms of a given disorder but often people have a range of symptoms which may or may not be related to the given disorder so if expressing a general wish for people to get better it would be more usual to say "from symptoms" rather than the narrower "from the symptoms" I hope this is helpful
