Hi. Abolish means to put an end to a practice, behavior, institution, etc, so one wouldn't normally apply this word to a person. Annihilate means to destroy completely, and is used mainly to refer to a group of people or a place; however, in an exaggerated sense, annihilate could be used to refer to one person.
