In Venezuela, my natal country we always eat a delicious cake such in others countrys, but we have an unique way for sing the birthday song, clapping we all our strength, laughing all the time and making funny sounds.
Our song is so long, but we sang with enthusiasm and happiness. I even sometimes people change the lyrics to be funnier.
Normally, we spend that day with family and friends in home and during the work hours our coworker decorate the workplace with balloons and that kind of stuff and sometimes they bring a small cake.
In most case, especially younger people celebrate their birthday, for a couple days and the next weekend, they try to go to a special place.
Definitely, Venezuelan citizens knows how enjoys birthday and holidays.
