Hey, did you mean "sworn DEPOSITION"?
If so, it refers to a written statement that has formally been acknowledged as the truth. These are made or used in a law court.

I think the phrase you mean is "sworn deposition" which is a legal term for when someone signs a document, usually as a witness, I believe. The document (or deposition) represents their testimony to be presented in court in written form so that they don't have to appear in person.

Do you mean Deposition? So it would be " Sworn Deposition"
Deposition is a like a formal Q&A. Or giving a statement
Sworn is giving a testimony under oath, or to be determined and committed to a cause or statement.
So sworn deposition in a formal way would mean to gave a testimony or statement under oath.

I suspect you mean to say "sworn deposition" - which is a legal term for testimony from a witness given under oath, or given after swearing to tell the truth. Depositions are usually collected before a trial, to gather testimonial evidence from witnesses.
