Hello! I was wondering if it is grammatically correct to say "my family have four members"? I know it is possible to say there are four members in my family or my family consists of four but I'm not sure about the first option 😓

It's poor grammar. Use "has", not "have", in that phrase.

The sentence “my family have four members” is not correct. “My family has four members” is grammatically correct, but it does not sound natural in everyday English. More natural sentences would be: “We are a family of four.” “There are four people in my family.” These are the expressions native speakers actually use.
