Hello!
I was wondering if it is grammatically correct to say "my family have four members"?
I know it is possible to say there are four members in my family or my family consists of four but I'm not sure about the first option đ

It's poor grammar. Use "has", not "have", in that phrase.

The sentence âmy family have four membersâ is not correct. âMy family has four membersâ is grammatically correct, but it does not sound natural in everyday English.
More natural sentences would be:
âWe are a family of four.â
âThere are four people in my family.â
These are the expressions native speakers actually use.
