Wybierać to choose one of two/many
Muszę wybrać jedną z nich, nie starczy mi miłości dla obu. (I must choose one of them, I don't have enough love for both of them)
Dobierać to match, to get one or several more.
Do kazdego o pytania dobierz po jednej odpowiedzi. (Match each question with an answer)
Wziąłem od mamy dziesięć mandarynek, ale pozwoliła mi dobrać jeszcze dwie. (I got ten tangerines from my mum, but she let me take two more.)

That two different verbs from Polish, we have a lot of this construction if you change the begining of the verb in this case brać to take
But if you for example want to make another meaning from this word you should change początek wyrazu - the begining starting of the word
This is exception because the real word should be brać and the you can put something, you can check this in dictionary we called this i think słowotwórstwo or something like that
Do- brać (to suit to feel comfortable with clothes, to take something and match to the colour or something else)
Wy-brać ( to chose, to decide)
Roze- brać ( to undress something or somebody)
And bierać this is slang or spoken language
Do- bierać
Wy- bierać
Thank you for attention 👍

"Wybierać" is simply to choose or to pick, whereas "dobierać" is to be a good fit, i.e. " Dobrze się dobraliśmy" means "We're a good fit to each other".
