I m originally from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Colombo is the capital city of Sri Lanka. It’s a buzzing city ever. Because all the commercial matters are done here.
Sinhalese are the majority of the city and there are Tamil and Muslim people are also there. All the bank head offices are located in Colombo. And the main commercial markets are also in the city. Not only that , there are lots of five star hotels are there like Hilton , Cinnamon lakeside, Cinnamon grand ( early Obaroy hotel) , and Shangrilla, Galle face hotel.
Main bus and the train station is in Colombo city and numerous busses and trains start from the city. Sri Lankan parliament is situated at Sri Jayewardenepura kotte, Colombo city. Especially all the government ministries are also located in the capital city Colombo. We have a old museum and large scale zoo is there in the city.
If you wish to come to Colombo, you can visit the all places in Colombo and I would like to invite to visit Sri Lanka.
