Today is Christmas Eve. My mom prepared our traditional celebratory dish, creamy lobster noodles. However, there was a twist: she couldn’t find any good price lobsters at the market, so she opted for another type of shrimp that was large in size and had big heads. Surprisingly, it turned out even better than the original, though, I am not sure whether it’s still called lobster noodles or whatever. Later, we exchanged gifts, each one thoughtfully chosen. My dad has been proudly wearing his new Christmas present—woolly, red, puffy socks that are just adorable. Merry Christmas to everyone!
