I think you question is "What does "for the damned"" mean?
"The damned" are people who are damned.
In a religious sense, depending upon the religion, "to be damned" means to be condemned or sent to a life of eternal punishment (like hell).
Outside of a religious context "to be damned" means to suffer an unhappy fate.
