Stash/stealth usage.
Can we use this words to describe a shoplifter concealing items in his bag?
i.e. He stashed the item into his bag. He stealthily put the item in the bag .
Do these phrases sound natural?

So you said that with some changes it sounds better, but would you say it sounds natural?
By the way, is discreetly commonly used in this case? How about furtively?

I think this would sound a little better:
He stashed the item in his bag.
He discreetly put the item in the bag.
'stealthily' would fit better in the context of a slightly longer action:
"He stealthily put the items into the bag." or
"He stealthily walked along the corridor
