What does this British joke mean? "Rock on, Tommy," One of her teammate mention Bobby Ball too. But I don't understand why they mention this comedian and his work. They say "Rock on Tommy" a lot.

Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball were a comedy double act in the 70s and 80s. 'Rock on, Tommy' was one of Bobby Ball's catchphrases. Here, she's using it to mean 'get a move in' and as a joke because he's called Tom. All British people above a certain age will recognise the reference.
