Say either
"My room is a good place to rest and study." ("rest" and "study" are verbs)
or
"My room is a good place for rest and study." ("rest" and "study" are nouns)
or
"My room is a good place in which to rest and study."
#2 is not wrong, but it is considered bad style to end sentences with a preposition.
