Drop means something falling from somewhere. The man dropped the ball.
Droop means something is hanging downwards. But is still attached. Like droopy eyelids, or a drooping flower

Drop refers to an object falling. For example: "He dropped the book on the floor." Droop means to sag or hang. For example: "He was tired, and his arms drooped at his sides."
