What’s the difference between Drop and Droop?

Drop means something falling from somewhere. The man dropped the ball.
Droop means something is hanging downwards. But is still attached. Like droopy eyelids, or a drooping flower

Drop refers to an object falling. For example: "He dropped the book on the floor." Droop means to sag or hang. For example: "He was tired, and his arms drooped at his sides."
