I could definitely see myself having a great time with Trudy Ederle. She was the first American woman to swim across the English Channel, and as a fellow swimmer, I think we'd connect. I recently watched a movie about her, which gave me a better understanding of her historical context. We could talk about swimming techniques and what it feels like to be a hero. She was an inspiring figure, and I could learn a lot from her. It would be amazing to visit the shore from where she made her historic swim. What a great dream!
